Bio

With over 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse across India, the UK, and Australia, Jijimol Arun brings a diverse and comprehensive perspective to diabetes education and care. Born in India, she began her nursing career there before moving to London, and later settling in Australia in 2011.

Her professional journey has included roles at leading healthcare institutions such as Alfred Hospital, where she worked in cardiology as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, and later as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator at Alfred Hospital, Monash Health, and HealthAbility Community Centre in Box Hill.

She is currently part of the team at Monash Health, where she works at the forefront of diabetes care, integrating technology and evidence-based practice to support people living with diabetes. She is passionate about continuous learning and regularly updates her knowledge through in-services, webinars, and professional conferences. Her goal is to provide personalized, informed, and compassionate care that empowers individuals to take control of their diabetes and achieve better health outcomes.
